The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a range of opportunities in April for networking, recognition, and community service.

The Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for three annual awards: The Ted A. Crozier Sr. Community Commitment Award, Boots to Suits: Veteran of the Year and Young Professional of the Year. Nominations must be received at the Chamber by Friday, April 7 and winners will be announced at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on Tuesday, May 9

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces its second annual event aimed at enhancing and enriching local entrepreneurial opportunities. This year’s workshop, titled Franchise Focus, will provide materials on franchises that have expressed interest in the Clarksville-Montgomery County market.

The Clarksville metropolitan statistical area (MSA) ranked 19^th in the nation for fastest job growth. A report released today from 24/7 Wall St., a Delaware-based financial news company, studied employment and job growth from October 2015 to October 2016 for 387 metro areas and announced the top 25 U.S. cities.

The Commerce will host the 24th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 7:30a.m. at the Austin Peay State University Morgan University Center. Keynote speaker at the breakfast is retired Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth O. Preston. He now serves as Director of NCO & Soldier Programs, AUSA

"Finding Your Audience" is the topic for the October 11 Women in Business luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Approximately 100 business owners and employees attended the Chamber and IDB co-sponsored Power Breakfast on Tuesday, September 20 at Clarksville’s Riverview Inn.

Estimates released yesterday from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey show Clarksville’s population at 149,120. Just shy of the 150,000 mark, this growth reflects an 11.6% increase over the past five years.
