CLARKSVILLE, TN – July 1, 2025 – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming events and announcements during the month of July.
The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of six new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the board are Adriano Rusak from American Snuff Company, LLC; Rylan Kean from Millan Enterprises, LLC; Antonio Murgas from Dominos; Zach Hayes from Higgins Insurance, Inc.; Dwight Thomas from Legends Bank; and Elaina Russell from Austin Peay State University, College of Business. These accomplished business leaders bring diverse expertise and perspectives that will strengthen the Chamber's mission to support and promote economic growth throughout the Clarksville area. The Chamber looks forward to their valuable contributions in advancing local business interests and community development initiatives.
While welcoming the new board members, the existing executive leadership structure for the upcoming term includes Dr. Mike Licari of Austin Peay State University as Chairman, with Tom Creech of McReynolds, Nave & Larson Funeral Home stepping into the role of Chair-Elect, 1st Vice Chair, and Rebecca Cooke of Beachaven Vineyards & Winery assuming the position of Chair-Elect, 2nd Vice Chair. Mike Rainey of Legends Bank will continue as Immediate Past Chairman, while Jamie Durrett serves as Legal Counsel and Brian Taylor of CDE Lightband takes on the dual role of Secretary/Treasurer. Committee leadership includes Lisa Baggett of United Community Bank as Chair of Membership Services, Walt Lord of Austin Peay State University as Chair of Military Affairs, and Jay Albertia of Progressive Directions, Inc. and Mark Holleman of Coldwell Banker Conroy, Marable & Holleman as Co-Chairs of Public & Community Affairs. Kevin Kennedy Jr. of Spring Creek Pediatric Dentistry will lead Business Development as committee chair.
Thursday, July 17, the Chamber will host Business After Hours and Business Expo from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Regional Airport, 200A Outlaw Field Road. Tuesday, July 22, the Chamber will host How to Supervise People and Lead a Team Seminar at 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Northeast, 215 Cracker Barrel Drive. Hosted by internationally renowned management expert, Glenn Shepard, the seminar addresses “The Great Resignation” and how many management experts estimate it will cost businesses $10,000 to lose an employee.
