On May 23rd, Chamber Chairman Mark Kelly presented the awards during the Annual Chamber Gala, they include:


Leo Millan, Millan Enterprises, Ted A Crozier, Sr. Community Commitment Award
honoring a Chamber member that showcases the spirit of our community and embodies the Chamber’s mission to improve the welfare of the community by enhancing the quality of life in the region.

Doug Englen, Bell, The Boots to Suits Award, recognizing Clarksville military veterans who, through professional and personal efforts, are making a positive impact throughout the business community, with a strong record of innovation or outstanding performance in their work and community involvement.

Tyler Mayes, Legacy Insurance, Clarksville Young Professional of the Year. The CYP winner is continually focused on professional development and shows care about our future of our community.

Alexis Goines, Allstate, Valerie Hunter-Kelly Woman in Business Award, honoring a female Chamber member who is a business owner, entrepreneur, or executive for the valuable contribution they’ve made over the last year to the community.

Erin Yow, Apex Title, Ambassador of the Year. Ambassadors play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the Chamber as goodwill representatives of the organization. Their commitment and participation in Chamber activities is vital.

Cecil Morgan, Morgan Contractors, Inc., Lifetime Achievement Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing a member that has shown a long-term dedication to the community and this organization.

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share upcoming events and announcements during the month of June.

The Clarksville Young Professionals (CYP) will meet on Wednesday, June 7 at 12 noon, at Chamber of Commerce, 25 Jefferson Street – Terrace Level, featuring 5 Star Media Group. Lunch will be provided. CYP is a platform for young professionals to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to economic development and high quality of life in our community.

Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 5-7 pm at Clarksville-Montgomery County Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center, 953 Clark Street. Don't miss Clarksville's premier networking event, offered at no cost to Chamber members - make new business connections and enjoy great food and fun! The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Ambassador Program. An Ambassador of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is a very important part of the day to day operations of the Chamber.  Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber of Commerce. They serve as the welcoming committee for grand openings and ribbon cuttings; as support at special events, Business After Hours, and ribbon cuttings; and as representatives of the Chamber as they conduct business for themselves and the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber office will be closed Monday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
